Bureau of Prisons spokesman Emery Nelson confirmed to CNN that Giannulli was released from Lompoc Jail on Friday, but declined to say whether he was in a halfway house or home.

Giannulli asked a judge earlier this year to allow him home on compassion because the coronavirus pandemic forced him to spend 56 days under quarantine in solitary confinement. Judge Nathaniel Gorton dismissed the request on January 26.
Loughlin was released in December after serving a two-month sentence for her role in the university’s admissions scam. Loughlin must also serve two years under supervision, perform 100 hours of community service and pay a $ 150,000 fine.
