Loop Hero, the old school adventure game from Four Quarters that was just released yesterday has more than 150,000 players.

Published by Devolver Digital, Loop Hero was announced at The Game Awards 2020 for this year’s release.

With the steam on March 4, the game already has an overwhelmingly positive score with 1,289 reviews from press time.

In Loop Hero, the world is thrown into a timeless loop that plunged its inhabitants into chaos. Using an expansive map, you will position enemies, buildings, and terrain along the path of each expedition to gather your hero’s memories and restore balance to the world.

You will also repair loot for each class of hero and equip for battles and expand the camp of the survivors to reinforce each adventure through the run.

Unlock new classes, new maps and guardians on your quest for the “endless cycle of despair”.

No hero’s expedition is ever the same, and only those who are resourceful enough will be able to overcome the guardian bosses as they try to break the timeline of the Lich.

Here is more:

  • Infinite Adventure: Choose from unlockable character classes and deck cards before embarking on a randomly generated loop path on each expedition. No expedition is ever the same as before.
  • Plan your battle: place strategy, terrain and enemy maps strategically along each loop to create your own dangerous path. Find a balance between the cards to increase your chances of survival while reclaiming valuable loot and resources for your camp.
  • Loot and upgrade: knock down threatening creatures, repair stronger loot to equip immediately, and unlock new benefits along the way.
  • Expand your camp: turn hard-earned resources into campsites and gain valuable reinforcements with each completed loop along the expedition path.
  • Save the Lost World: Overcome a series of unholy guardian bosses over a great saga to save the world and break the Lich’s timeline
