Look inside the private jet on which Biden flew after his inauguration

President Joe Biden arrived in Washington DC before his inauguration, not with a U.S. Air Force plane, but with a chartered private jet.

A Boeing Business Jet 737 flew Biden from New Castle Airport to Andrews Air Force Base on Tuesday, taking the then-elected president in style and luxury to the country’s capital, as the plane is typically reserved for the upper tier of private kites. Biden used a similar but less luxurious 737 on the campaign route after initially rejecting one.

California’s Jet Edge International operates the turn-by-turn private jet, a true-flying penthouse, complete with a master bedroom and shower on board. The aircraft is ideal for intercontinental flights as the facilities make it possible to be a true home away from home.

Biden used the jet only for a rapid jump of 78 kilometers, as the president’s concerns obstructed the preferred method of transportation between the two cities, Amtrak. This was probably his last flight on the plane, as he has access to a whole fleet of luxury military planes and helicopters to transport him wherever he wants.

And now that the 737 is no longer used by the president, the plane can be rented by anyone who can afford the high price. An hour alone on the jet is probably tens of thousands of dollars.
