A local journalist in New York speaks out about the apparent abuse of the Cuomo government while the Democratic governor fights to save his political career amid several allegations of sexual harassment.
” You have a vendetta against him, not true! “This was the last time I allowed anyone attached to Governor Andrew Cuomo’s government to harass and manipulate me,” former News10 reporter Lindsay Nielsen wrote in a statement on Sunday. “It was during one of the many accusing and threatening calls I received from his staff members that I realized that this behavior was never going to stop. It was shortly afterwards that I decided to leave my job at News10.”

“The late-night phone calls from the administration, the constant threats to call my boss, the incessant bullying of trying to stop me from doing my job and reporting specific stories … it will never end. The tactics used were deliberate “They evaded the line of disability so delicately to make you feel acceptable,” Nielsen wrote.
She continues: ‘I am writing this today to make sure that those who were involved in this behavior at the time know that it was not only unacceptable, but also that it was harmful. I applaud those who have recently come forward with reports of similar behavior by the same administration. “
Cuomo’s office did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.

According to her LinkedIn page, Nielsen left the News10 in Albany in 2017 as an investigative reporter after joining the network in 2012.
Nielsen also did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.
The governor of New York is facing increasing scandals that continue to plague his government. Cuomo was hit by several allegations of sexual misconduct by former assistants, which led to numerous calls for an independent investigation to investigate the alleged misconduct.

The Cuomo government is also accused of covering up the state’s COVID nursing deaths following the Democrat’s controversial policy that ordered COVID – positive patients in the early months of the pandemic in emergency care facilities.
