On Saturday, Lizzo posted a video on TikTok warning of her fourteen and a half million followers. “Do not drink, DM, children,” the Grammy-winning singer endorsed her video. Under audio from TikTok star Tatayanna Mitchell, Lizzo revealed that she sent a series of emojis with Chris Evans with only one possible meaning. The wind? A female athlete? A basketball? That’s right, Lizzo clearly shoots her shot. Well, in a follow-up video released today, Lizzo reveals an important update: Chris Evan actually answered you.
“The reason I’m upset about this one is because I know I will not be able to marry him,” the singer sank into the video. “And honestly, it hurts me a lot. Because, damn dad, he’s a rare breed, without comparison. Like, Chris … ”While Lizzo may be longing for her own audacity, Evans’ reaction to her message points to the non-stop shooting that probably takes place in his DMs every day. “No shame in a drunken DM,” replied the Knives out actor, who also followed the singer on Instagram, with a grin. “God knows I did worse with this app.”
