A major winter storm continues into the Northeast early Tuesday, and it crackles traffic with heavy snow and strong winds.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), an “extended band” of moderate to heavy snow will continue during the evening and overnight time.

On Monday, the storm would be forecast to two meters of snow over an area stretching from Pennsylvania to New England, affecting cities such as Philadelphia, New York City and Boston.
More than 8 centimeters are expected to fall in the coming hours, says the NWS.
