The Detroit Lions and the Los Angeles Rams are trading together again.

According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, the Lions are getting a veteran defensive tackle, Michael Brockers in an agreement with the Rams.

This is the second trade that the two teams will take place in the off-season, as Brad Rams, former CEO of Rams, is now the new general manager of the Lions. They also reached an agreement earlier in the off-season to swap backs Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff, as well as multiple drafts. This trade could also finally become official with the start of the new league year on Wednesday.

Brockers spent his entire nine-year career with the Rams. He started 136 of the 138 games in which he played in the course of that team, with 28 career bags. The 5.0 bags Brockers posted last year was the second best point of his career behind the 5.5 bags he posted during his second season in 2013.

Per Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network asked the Rams Brockers to rework his contract and could not reach agreement. The Rams were on the wrong side of the limit for the salary cap as the deadline to get their books in order with the start of the league year approaches Wednesday.

However, Brockers will have to make things easier with Goff now that they are teammates again.
