LinkedIn is down and experiencing website issues

LinkedIn is currently lower worldwide, affecting users on both mobile and PC. The social network owned by Microsoft first encountered issues with 14:00 ET, and LinkedIn has confirmed that it is bringing the site online again.

“Some members may have trouble accessing LinkedIn on mobile and desktop,” says a LinkedIn report. “We are working on this as we speak and will provide updates as we have them.”

LinkedIn rarely experiences interruptions, and it’s not clear why the service is experiencing issues today. LinkedIn last experienced widespread problems in January last year when users could not post to the service or make new connections. Today’s disruption affects the entire site, so it does not load most users.

We have contacted LinkedIn for more details and we will update you accordingly. If you are waiting for the important email to connect with the professional network, then just know that the issues are being worked on.
