Lil Wayne and Kodak Black apparently put on Trump’s compiled list of people to forgive before leaving office

According to Bloomberg, Trump is considering forgiving Wayne, who recently pleaded guilty in federal district court to illegal possession of a gun while traveling to Florida in a private jet in 2019.

Also on the list is Florida rapper Kodak Black, who was sentenced to 46 months in prison on federal gun charges.

If convicted, he could serve up to 10 years in prison. The decision will be announced at a sentencing hearing on January 28.

Wayne is a well-known supporter of Trump and posed for a photo with him in October. “Just having a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he has done so far with the criminal reform, the platinum plan will really give the community ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured that he will and can get done. ”he posted on Twitter at the time.

Black (born Dieuson Octave) has meanwhile admitted that he was lying on background check forms while buying several weapons. Later, two of the firearms were found at crime scenes by police. One of the firearms had Black’s fingerprints and a live lap in the room. It was reportedly used by a “competitive rap artist” The New York Times.

The rappers are among a longer list of potential pardons, including family members, senior White House officials and possibly even himself.

President Trump plans to announce the pardon on what is expected to be his last full day in office, January 19.
