A security camera captured the horrific moment when a lightning bolt killed a man and injured three others who were hiding under a tree in India during a rainstorm.
The tragic strike took place on March 12 in the Signature Villas apartment complex in Gurgaon, a city in the northern Indian state of Haryana, where the four men were part of the horticultural staff, NDTV reported.
Footage shows them descending through the lightning at the tree. Three of them immediately collapse, while the fourth, leaning against the tree, falls a second later.
One of the men was admitted to hospital with serious burns. According to the newspaper, the other two were apparently out of danger.
