Liam Neeson says he plans to retire from action movies soon

Liam Neeson has made dozens of action films over the course of his career, but the actor revealed that it would soon be time to step out of the genre.

The 68-year-old entertainer admitted that age had a lot to do with his decision.

“I’m 68 and a half. 69 this year. There’s some more I’m going to do this year – hopefully, FAMOUS it allows us – there’s some in the pipeline and then I think it’s likely to be Well “unless I’m on a Zimmer frame or something,” Neeson told Entertainment Tonight.

What keeps him going is playing against young stars, Neeson admitted.

“I like doing them. I love defeating guys as half as my age,” he said.

The star “The Marksman” said during a recent survey in Australia that his co-star was as young as one of his sons.

‘I just finished one in Australia and I had a fight scene with a kid – a sweet, sweet actor named Taylor – and halfway through the fight I looked up, I was breathless and it did not cost him a penny not, and I said, ‘Taylor, how old are you?’ He said, ’25. ‘ Neeson laughed, ‘I said,’ This is the age of my oldest son! ‘

In October, Neeson told Fox News he wishes stunt work would be recognized by major awards.

“[Stunt people] is brilliant, “Neeson said. The man I work with, [stunt coordinator] Mark Vanselow, [we’ve] 24 films done together.

“He did amazing tricks for me and for other actors …. yes, it has to, they have to be recognized. They have to. But the people in the industry know,” he added.
