LG is slowly rolling out its 2021 OLED and LCD 4K TVs

Last month, LG officially unveiled its 2021 TV series at the CES 2021 virtual event, and now the company is announcing the start of their worldwide launch. It features its new, excellent LCD range of QNED 4K and 8K TVs that combine quantum dot technology with Mini LED backlighting, and an interesting set of OLED options for the new year.

At the end of its OLED TVs, the G1 series features OLED evo panel technology that should have better brightness and white than we saw before, while the mainstream C1 series features options ranging from 48 to 83 inches in size. . For many people, however, the most interesting items are cheap, where B1 and A1 options can make OLED TVs available at lower prices than ever before.

We do not yet have all the details about these cheaper sets, but every TV in its 2021 series, including the A1, includes eARC and ALLM features, even if they do not have HDMI 2.1. We also have a photo of the A1 that we have not received before (shown above), so if you are planning to buy one, make sure you have room for the wide distance on the standard .

The first LG OLED and LCD TVs in 2021 will launch this quarter, though where and when are yet to be announced. The question of how much one of them will cost is still unanswered for US buyers, although LG has announced prices on some models in Germany.

PlatpaneleHD points out that the C1 and G1 models will launch in April, with the A1 series later. Prices in Europe for a 55-inch C1 and G1 are € 2,000 and € 2,400 respectively. That converts to $ 2,420 and $ 2,914, but US prices will definitely be lower. What may be more remarkable is that the prices are € 200 and € 100 higher than where similar 2020 models started, although we have to wait for an official MSRP to know what is left when these models arrive in the US.
