Lenovo’s upcoming gaming phone leaks into beautiful photos

Lenovo’s upcoming gaming smartphone, the Legion 2 Pro may be of little importance to consumers in the United States, but it forms an interesting piece of technology. Not only that, but several photos from the phone reveal an unusual design for Lenovo’s device.

Marked by XDA developers, the practical photos published on Weibo, the Chinese social network, shows a rather strange smartphone. Although the design language follows the same pattern as the Lenovo Legion phone, it remains unusual, even for a gaming smartphone.

Like its predecessor, the Legion 2 Pro will feature all sorts of ports and probably a pop-out camera. We also know that Lenovo’s leading edge device will be equipped with what the company calls a dual cooling system.

Most of the phone’s hardware specifications have already been revealed by Lenovo, but the devil is in the details, so there are probably many more details on what could be announced later this week. Without further ado, the Legion 2 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, with a huge 6.92-inch OLED screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz, and the phone has a spacious 5,500 mAh battery with 90 W Super Flash Charge support. As for the camera, we know that Lenovo will include a 64-megapixel main camera as well as a 44-megapixel secondary selfie-snapper.

The Legion 2 Pro from Lenovo will be launched on April 8 and is expected to go on sale in China sometime this month. The bad news is that it’s unlikely to be available in the US if you watch one.
