Lenny Kravitz joins Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel in the upcoming action comedy Shotgun Wedding
Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel have a few more guests coming to their Shotgun Wedding, with Lenny Kravitz.
The 56-year-old singer and actor, according to Deadline, signed on for the Lionsgate action comedy.
According to Tuessday’s report, Cheech Marin, D’Arcy Carden, Selena Tan, Desmin Borges and Alex Mallari were also signed.

The story is about Grace (Lopez) and Tom (Duhamel), who are both preparing to bring their respected families together for their destination wedding.
What the families do not know is that the couple has cold feet, but that it all becomes secondary when the families are suddenly taken hostage.
Now Grace and Tom must find a way to save both of their families, without killing each other in the process.

Kravitz plays Sean, who is described as the ‘global ex of Grace’, while Marin plays Grace’s father Robert.
Carden plays Robert’s new wife Harriet, while Tan Marge depicts the head of the resort where the wedding will take place.
Borges plays Ricky, the “permanent whiskey-embarrassed embarrassment of Tom’s best friend.”
Lenny’s role: Kravitz plays Sean, described as the ‘globetrotting ex of Grace’, while Marin plays Grace’s father Robert.
D’arcy’s role: Carden plays Robert’s new wife Harriet, while Tan Marge, the head of the resort where the wedding will take place, is portrayed.
Mallari excludes the cast as ‘pirate’, and the report adds that production is set to launch this month.
Jason Moore (Pitch Perfect) directs from a screenplay by Elizabeth Merriwether (New Girl) and Mark Hammer (Two Night Stand).
Lopez also co-produces with her Nuyorican Productions partners Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Benny Medina, along with Mandeville’s Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman.

Kravitz has not played himself in a movie since an unprecedented turn in Zoolander 2, although he also played Cinna in The Hunger Games and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
The singer was recently seen in the Super Bowl ad for Stella Artoiss and has asked fans to invest in their own lives and become a ‘heartbeat billionaire’.
Other films include Lee Daniels’ The Butler and Precious plus guest starring in Star, The Simpsons and Better Things.
Movie roles: Kravitz has not starred in a movie since an unknown turn in Zoolander 2 as himself, although he also played Cinna in The Hunger Games and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
