LEGO Porsche 911 Turbo and Targa release

LEGO has once again captured the hearts of car enthusiasts everywhere with the release of its new car kit. The company officially unveiled a two-in-one Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Targa, bringing together two of the most iconic models from the 1970s and 1980s.

LEGO builders and car lovers will surely feel nostalgic with the 911 Turbo and 911 Targa building. The models are meticulously detailed, channeling the essence of the ubiquitous German sports car. Both Porsches feature all the features of their original makeup, including the aerodynamic shoulder line down to the shaped hood with the easily noticeable Porsche emblem, rear flat-six Boxer engine and oblique headlights.

With the two-in-one model, builders can choose between the classic coupe or a convertible style by adding the fixed roof for the 911 Turbo model or the 911 Targa with open roof at the same time. Both versions still retain their elegant silhouettes and timeless interiors. The 2 + 2 sports seats and dashboard are manufactured in dark orange and nougat color scheme, which almost reflects the striking contemporary upholstery options of the legendary Porsche 911.

The interior is also something to marvel at, with a handbrake, gearbox and functional steering. The front seats still adhere to the realistic features, but move forward so that access to the rear seat is available.

To ensure that the 911 Turbo and Targa are easily recognizable, the range comes with fashionable features. The 911 Turbo has a distinctive Turbo badge, turbocharger, intercooler and wide rear axle, complemented by an integrated rear spoiler. As for the 911 Targa, the Targa Bar highlights the model, along with its badge and brick-surrounding rear window.

LEGO VIP members can purchase the set from February 16, while others will have to wait until March 1. The LEGO Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Targa cost $ 149.99 USD and are available at LEGO.
