Legends suggest a brand new ship, and that’s why

If you missed it, Star Trek: Legends from developer FTX Games and publisher Tilting Point, which was recently launched as part of a significant expansion of Apple Arcade. The Apple Arcade-exclusive iOS video game lets players control a Starfleet craft as their ship curves into the mysterious Nexus, in which they discover a dimension of new worlds and characters. The video game in particular introduces a new ship called the USS Artemis, and the developer recently explained why he decided to set up a brand new ship rather than use an existing ship during a press event that ComicBook.com attended.

“The Nexus, where the game takes place, is this empire that you can only enter through these destructive cracks, so we had to set up in the way that the Federation of Planets created this unique spaceship, it is the only spaceship in the fleet go into the kingdom, ‘says Amir Lotan, executive producer and creative director Star Trek: Legends. Another reason is that we bring in characters from all times [Starfleet], we did not want a spaceship specifically associated with one of the programs or one of the periods. We really wanted something that would feel like it’s the player as the captain and that no one can claim through them on board. ‘

Star Trek: Legends is currently available as part of the Apple Arcade subscription service. The service itself, which is available on iOS devices, is $ 4.99 per month. You can see all of our previous Apple Arcade coverage here.
