Legends of Tomorrow’s Dominic Purcell concludes CW series

Actor Dominic Purcell reveals on social media that he is leaving the Legends of Tomorrow of DC and criticizes the attitude of the studio.

UPDATE: Purcell has since deleted his Instagram post, as well as a follow-up that explained that it was a joke aimed at news sales. He noted that although he leaves the series as a regular cast, he will appear periodically in Legends of Tomorrow.

DC Legends of Tomorrow star Dominic Purcell, who plays Mick Rory, also known as Heatwave, has announced that he will be ending the show.

He wrote on Instagram: “The agreement was not made. I have no interest. What cash do they also give at corporate level? I walk away from [Legends of Tomorrow]. It was a total pleasure and a humble experience [DC Comics’s] iconic character [Heatwave] (aka) MICK RORY for life. “
