Leakage claims that the iPhone 13 displays smaller notch front panels

An image that has just been leaked offers us the first real look at the redesigned notch that may be on the way with the iPhone 13. This comes after several reports suggested that Apple intends to reduce the notch with this year’s iPhone upgrade. .

As first reported by MacRumors, the Greek repair industry iRepair has acquired the leading glass panels for the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The images clearly show the front glass panels of the iPhone in three different sizes, each of which has a smaller notch.

In this picture you can see that the earpiece has moved above the notch and in the top edge. This design change was rumored for the first time last year regarding the iPhone 12 series, but it ultimately did not happen. Instead, the iPhone 12 has the same notch as the iPhone X, iPhone XS and iPhone 11.

While this image provides a great way to visualize a smaller notch with the iPhone 13, we’ll treat it with a bit of skepticism. Once again, rumors have been circulating about this design change before, and this image could very well show something created based on leaked schemes from last year.

But having said that, the evidence is mounting that the iPhone 13 launched this year will have a smaller notch. Apple’s trusted analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, reported earlier this month that the iPhone 13 series would contain a smaller notch if one of the “major hardware specifications changes.”

The supply chain blog Macotakara also reported in January that the iPhone 13 will feature a smaller notch. This report specifically mentions that this change would be made possible by repositioning the earlobe.
