HOUSTON – After Houston Attorney Tony Buzbee said in an Instagram post Tuesday night that he had filed a lawsuit against Deshaun Watson, the Texan quarterback issued a statement saying he was looking forward to his name to clean.
Watson responded on Twitter to the matter, saying he rejects “an unfounded requirement of six-digit settlements”, and that this is about clearing my name, and I look forward to doing so. ‘
Buzbee did not specify the allegations against Watson in his post, but referred to behavior with women and later told FOX 26 in Houston that “Watson went too far” with a woman massaging him.
“I have never treated any woman with anything but the utmost respect,” Watson said in his statement.
Buzbee is known throughout the Houston area for his law firm and unsuccessful campaign in 2019 against Mayor Sylvester Turner.
