‘Law & Order: SVU’: Chris Meloni in multiple episodes of season 22

Did Elliot Stabler miss his old group more than he allowed?

Chris Meloni’s character appears in Law & Order: Unit for Special Victims Except for his appearance on Thursday, April 1, the procedure’s showrunner recently revealed.

On Friday, executive producer Warren Leight tweeted that his program had shot ‘three Benson / Stabler scenes today’. When a viewer asked when those scenes would be broadcast, Leight replied: ‘Yesterday’s scenes were for a SVU down the road. ”

As previously reported, Stabler will return to SVU in an episode titled “Return of the Prodigal Son.” The hour in which the unit supports Stabler while trying to locate someone threatening his family will serve as the first half of a crossover leading up to the premiere of Law and order: organized crime. OC will follow Chris Meloni’s SVU character when he returned to the New York City Police Department following what the program’s official logbook called ‘devastating personal loss’. When he brings the pieces of his life back together, he joins a high-ranking task force that must dismantle the city’s biggest crime syndicates.

But how many times will Stabler show up after the crossover? The passage is a little less clear, though TVLine hears that Meloni and Mariska Hargitay, who play Olivia, were seen watching at least two episodes after the crossover.

There’s no word yet on when the upcoming Elliot episode (s) will air. TVLine contacted NBC for comment.
