Las Vegas Raiders linked to Vikings’ Daniel Hunter

It is speculated that the Minnesota Vikings may finally trade the star-studded rest Danielle Hunter, and of course, the Las Vegas Raiders are linked with him.

It seems like the Raiders have always been tied to players who could be in the trade market, and because Hunter is an elite pass rusher, a potential Las Vegas pass makes sense because the Raiders desperately need their production of passes. Raiders’ reports reporter Vinny Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal on Monday discussed the topic of a quest for Hunter in Las Vegas.

Hunter would not be cheap. He will likely cost at least a first-round pick, and he will order a contract extension from first place. This can be difficult for the Raiders to do.

He underwent surgery to repair a herniated disc in his neck and he missed the entire 2020 season. However, the 26-year-old defender has been dominant in the previous two seasons – he had 14.5 pockets in both 2018 and 2019.

If the Vikings do decide to enter into Hunter, there will be a huge market and the Raiders will probably investigate it, but it will be a monster deal in terms of salary as well as trade compensation.
