Las Vegas Convention Center offers second doses of Pfizer vaccine.

The Southern Nevada Health District will begin offering the second doses of the Pfizer vaccine this week at the vaccination site at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The site only serves those who have received their first vaccine doses on a site operated by the health district or one of its partners.

The duration of reception of the Pfizer vaccine is not later than 21 days after the first dose. The district began administering the Pfizer vaccine on January 21, meaning the first recipients of a first dose will be available for a second dose on Thursday.

The site still offers the second doses of the Moderna vaccine, which can be administered no later than 28 days after a first dose.

The health district said in a news release on Tuesday from 08:30 to 14:00, from Tuesday to Saturday, or ‘based on clinical capacity’. The site is dedicated to providing second doses and does not offer first doses.

The district only accepts those who have received their first doses at these sites or events: the Decatur Boulevard health district, Cashman Center, Western High School, Jerome Mack Middle School and vaccination opportunities offered by Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson and the University of Touro.

The conference center grounds are located in the C-1 area of ​​the central hall of the facility. Parking is available from Paradise Road at Convention Center Drive.
