According to People, the document was dated October 17, 2019, written two months after he filed for divorce from his seventh wife, Shawn Southwick King.

“This is my last will and testament. It must replace all previous writings. In case of my death I want to divide 100% of my funds equally among my children every day after the date above Andy, Chaia, Larry Jr., Chance & Cannon ” King apparently wrote in the document, according to the magazine.

King died at the age of 87 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on January 23.

His will was written a few months before the loss of his two adult children Andy (65) and Chaia (51.) The two died within a few weeks of each other. Andy had a heart attack while Chaia struggled with lung cancer.

“It is with sadness and a broken heart from a father that I confirm the recent loss of two of my children, Andy King and Chaia King. Both were good and kind souls and they will be greatly missed,” King said. Facebook wrote the time. “Andy died unexpectedly of a heart attack on July 28, and Chaia died on August 20, just a short time after being diagnosed with lung cancer.”

He added: “Losing them feels so out of place. No parent needs to bury a child.”

King has his son Larry King Jr. shared with ex-wife Annette Kaye; and Cannon and Chance King with Southwick King.

The Larry King Now host was married to Southwick King for 22 years before filing for divorce in August 2019. After his death, she revealed that while he was hospitalized after contracting COVID-19 at the end of 2020, he eventually died of a sepsis infection. .

She also confirmed that her surviving children were able to work with FaceTime in his final moments.

“And it was hard for him to speak, but the one message he wanted to ensure I heard was, ‘I love you, take care of the boys,'” she said.

King’s family laid him to rest in a private funeral days after his death.
