Larry King moves from ICU to hospitalize COVID-19

Longtime broadcaster Larry King was moved out of an ICU in Los Angeles on Monday while still receiving hospital care for COVID-19, according to NBC News.

A source close to King’s family told the newspaper that King had been in a hospital in LA for ten days, adding that King believed he contracted the disease through a health worker who visited his home. One of his adult children also tested positive for the disease.

King, 87, suffered a stroke and heart attack last year and lost two children to medical problems the same year. The news was announced on Saturday about his hospitalization for the virus.

“Larry has been fighting so many health issues over the last few years and he’s fighting the one hard, he’s a champion,” someone close to the family told ABC News at the time.

King is a prolific broadcaster who hosted Larry King Live on CNN for 25 years and currently hosts the talk show series Larry King Now on Ora TV, RT America and Hulu.
