Larry King reportedly left a ‘handwritten will’ to give his five children an equal distribution to his five children in the event of his death.
The legendary journalist died of sepsis on January 23 at the age of 87 after battling COVID-19.
His last will was apparently written on October 17, 2019, about two months after he filed for divorce from his seventh wife, Shawn Southwick, according to TMZ.

The radio and television host was reportedly worth about $ 50 million when he passed earlier this year.
He added that in the event of his death, he should ‘split’ 100 per cent ‘of his funds’ equally among my children Andy, Chaia, Larry Jr., Chance and Cannon’.
Larry lost two of his adult children in 2020 by months apart.

King’s seventh wife, Shawn Southwick, whom he married in 1997 and was in the middle of a divorce at the time of his death, has been left out of the will.
His son, Andy, died of a heart attack in July and his daughter, Chaia, died in August after being diagnosed with lung cancer.

Shawn revealed that Larry was “ready to go” when he battled an infection in the hospital after hitting the coronavirus.
She added that his last words to her were about a video call from the hospital: “I love you, take care of the boys.”

She told Entertainment Tonight: ‘It was an infection, it was sepsis. Well, he was finally ready to go, I’ll tell you that.
‘You know, he never wanted to go, but his sweet little body was just so right, it had just been hit with so many things so many times and as soon as we heard the word Covid, our hearts just sank.
“But he hit it, you know, he hit it, but it took its toll and then the unrelated infection finally took hold of him, but boy, he wouldn’t go down easily.”
Shawn said she was grateful she could talk to Larry, the father of her sons Chance (21), and Cannon (20) on a video call before his death.
