The singer announced the new album with a post on Instagram, along with a selfie and a June 1 release date. She confirmed the news and elaborated on the themes of the upcoming album in An Instagram story who scolded Harper’s Bazaar for an article entitled, “Lana Del Rey Can’t Qualify Her to Be Held Responsible.” “I just want to say thank you again for the kind of articles like this and for reminding me that my career was built on cultural appropriation and the brilliance of domestic abuse,” Lana wrote. ‘I will continue to challenge the mind on my next survey on June 1, titled Rock Candy Sweet. ” Chemtrails about the outdoor club, the sequel to 2019’s widely acclaimed Norman Fokken Rockwell!, was released this week after significant delays last year.
