L. Brent Bozell IV, son of a prominent Conservative, is charged with riots in the Capitol.

The son of Brent Bozell, a Conservative commentator, is charged in connection with the January 6 attack on the Capitol after he was identified by wearing a sweatshirt from Christian High School, where he previously worked as a girls basketball coach.

Leo Brent Bozell IV – whose father is Leo Brent Bozell III’s full name – is accused of entering a restricted government building, which hampered an official process and disorderly conduct, according to a complaint filed in federal district court on Tuesday filed in Washington.

The court documents contain several screenshots of the younger Mr. Bozell in various places in the Senate, where he lingered about ten minutes without a mask. He is seen chatting on his phone and at one point it looks like he is repositioning a C-SPAN camera in the top gallery of the room.

Bozell’s father is a sincere right – wing activist known for his Christian values. In 1995, he founded the Parent Television Council to protect young people from what he sees as the morally destructive effect of popular culture.

While expressing sympathy with the frustrations expressed by former President Donald J. Trump’s supporters, the elder, Mr. Bozell unequivocally criticized the attack on the Capitol.

“One element continued in lawlessness and it did all the other tremendous damage,” he told Fox News. “I think that’s absolutely wrong.”

Birth rates, obtained by Ancestry.com, show that the younger Mr. Bozell was born in 1979 to Brent Bozell and Norma Petruccione, who over the years in the news accounts as the wife of Mr. Bozell has been identified.

The messages sent to the elder, Mr. Bozell, left, was not immediately returned. The court documents did not provide information about the younger Mr. Bozell’s legal representation does not.

A witness who watched the video of the riot said the younger Mr. Bozell, nicknamed “Zeek” or “Zeeker,” identifies after noticing wearing a blue sweater with “Hershey Christian Academy,” a small parish. school near Harrisburg, Penn., according to the complaint.

“Bozell was stopped from being the girls’ basketball coach in March 2020 because the team could no longer practice or play games due to the Covid-19 pandemic,” the witness told an FBI agent.
