Kyrie Irving, a hug from Bam Adebayo after the game, crumbles amid tightened NBA safety rules

The Brooklyn Nets ended their slip Saturday night with a narrow victory over the Miami Heat, 128-124.

The game comes down to the wire, but it was a series in the after-game between Nets guard Kyrie Irving and Heat center Bam Adebayo. The two NBA superstars hugged at the end of the game and it looks like they are ready to change jerseys before officials come in and break it up.

Irving and Adebayo continued to talk as both players were advised to go to locker room.

The big problem was that the NBA banned hugs after the game due to the recent spate of positive coronavirus tests that affected teams and players in the league. The NBA has been forced to postpone a handful of games due to the outbreaks and has introduced stricter rules.

It was unclear how the rules would be applied, but it was fully visible when team security stepped on the floor to kick Irving and Adebayo back to the story.
