The 23-year-old, along with 61 others, was taken off the Forbes’ 35th annual list of billionaires, announced on April 6.
Jenner became rich through her Kylie Cosmetics company, which is valued at about $ 1.2 billion. Last year, she sold 51% of her ownership for $ 600 million to Coty Brands.
Forbes later reported in 2020 that Jenner and her mother and manager Kris Jenner had ‘inflated’ their wealth in documents they had sent to Forbes, accusing ‘Kylie’s camp’ of ‘lying’.
The Jenner mother-daughter duo reportedly invited Forbes to their homes and to their accounting offices and gave Forbes tax returns that were ‘forged’.
Forbes reporters compared what the Jenners did to Donald Trump’s maneuvers and attempts to look richer than he actually was, estimating that Kylie Jenner’s wealth was probably closer to ‘just under $ 900 million’.
Jenner’s current net worth is estimated at about $ 700 million. But another member of the Kardashian-Jenner made the list: Jenner’s half-sister Kim Kardashian West is now officially a billionaire.
