Sifu, a new Kung Fu action game developed by Slocap, the team behind Absolver, will hit computers and consoles later this year.
Sifu is revealed during the latest State of Play with an intense Kung Fu fight and a gripping story in which a young student wants revenge against those who killed his entire family. During his quest, he will grow older each time he is defeated, but also more skilled, able to tackle stronger opponents and eventually avenge his family.
On the road to revenge: The hunt for the assassins will take you through the hidden corners of the city, from the gang suburbs to the cold corridors of the towers. You have one day and there are countless enemies on the way. Time is the price to pay.
Adaptation is the way: Careful positioning and clever use of the environment to your advantage is the key to your survival. Use everything at your disposal: throwable objects, improvised weapons, windows and ridges … The odds are stacked against you and you will get no mercy.
Training never ends: Kung Fu is a path for the body and the mind. Learn from your mistakes, unlock unique skills and find the power within you to master the destructive techniques of Pak-Mei Kung-Fu.
Sifu will be released later this year on PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. An exact release date has yet to be confirmed.
