Kristin Davis retires after Sarah Jessica Parker confirms SATC revival will not replace Samantha

She’s about to return to one of her most iconic characters for a very special HBO Max revival.

And Kristin Davis looked like she was comfortable and went for a walk in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

During her outing, the Sex And The City star (55) embraces a much more comfortable look than her first-class character Charlotte York Goldenblatt, opting for a casual pair of jeans and tee-shirt ensemble.

To keep out the mild winter cold, she layered a black blazer jacket on top.

Comfort was key for the Boulder, Colorado-born actress, who teamed up in a pair of classic Ugg boots.

The rest of her accessories were just as practical as she covered her eyes with pink sunglasses and put on a face mask to protect the spread of coronavirus, which plagued Los Angeles.

Davis let her natural beauty shine through by being makeup-free and pulling her hair back out of her face and pulling it into a smooth ponytail.

The celeb outing comes on the heels of the news Sex And The City will get the recharge treatment with a limited series for one season.

But the world of Carrie Bradshaw will be a little different this time.

After it was confirmed that Kim Cattrall would not return to her role as sex-positive PR diva Samantha Jones, fans wondered if the show was planning to create a new character to join the famous (former) foursome , which also includes Cynthia Nixon as power attorney / mother Miranda Hobbes.

But the leading lady Sarah Jessica Parker calmed those rumors on Wednesday morning as she went to her SJP shoe boutique in Seaport, New York.

“We do not want to create a fourth character,” she said. “We have New York as the fourth character and it will be an interesting new character that we are excited about.”

And Cattrall seems completely satisfied that he does not have a hand in the project.

The 64-year-old cast a bit of a disguised shadow on her former Sex and the City role-players by holding a fan tweet “applauding” her decision to “put her first” and refusing to participate in reloading the HBO show.

The tweet reads: ‘I absolutely love Sex and the City, and although I am sad that Samantha will not return, I rejoice in doing what is best for you, and think it is a good example to yourself to put first. Well done @KimCattrall. ‘

Keep it smart: Cattrall, 64, took a thin sneak peek at her former cast of Sex and the City the previous day by holding a tweet from fans cheering her on for refusing to take part in the revival
