The 64-year-old cast a bit of a disguised shadow on her former Sex and the City role-players by holding a fan tweet “applauding” her decision to “put her first” and refusing to participate in reloading the HBO show.

The original series, created by Darren Star, and adapted from a Candace Bushnell column, ran on HBO from 1998 to 2004, starring Cattrall, Parker, Davis and Nixon.
The series, which will consist of ten half-hour episodes, will begin production in New York City in late spring, according to Variety.
