Konami to officially dissolve and restructure production divisions

Konami has officially announced that the corporation will dissolve and then restructure its production divisions. The website, which is available in both Japanese and English, said Konami would act involving all three production divisions in response to the ‘rapid market surrounding the company’. The restructuring and dissolution will take effect immediately on 1 February 2021.

In addition, the office staff changes and corporate officers listed on the website that will be introduced in the new positions on the same date as part of the effort. These people included newly appointed corporate officers and a newly appointed executive officer. Selected members from all three production divisions will be moved to general production divisions and product support divisions. Konami did not provide any further information regarding the structural change within the company.

Recently, Konami has selected titles from the Metal gear and Quiet hill series on computers through the GOG store window. Along with this, it has the Konami Collector Series: Castlevania and Contra PC versions. Both are currently also available to purchase and download through the GOG store window.

In May 2020, Konami announced the Castlevania series of original soundtracks to Spotify. The soundtracks are currently available to stream internationally. The available soundtracks contain titles such as Castlevania: Symphony of the night, Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, en Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia.
