New details surrounding the separation of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been revealed.
According to court documents, the reality star cites ‘incompatible differences’ as the reason for their divorce.
Kardashian also allegedly demanded that the ability to grant marriage support or Western marriage support be terminated, according to Entertainment Tonight and Us Weekly, which obtained the court documents.
The documents also reveal that their divorce date is still “TBD”, and as previously reported, the famous couple had a prenuptial agreement.

Documents were filled out on Monday 22 February and the creator of Skims is represented by the famous separation lawyer of the stars, Laura Wasser, who is called the “Disso Queen”.
Last week it was revealed that Kardashian, 40, is also seeking joint and legal custody of the four children she shares with West, 43: North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 1.

The split is said to be perfectly friendly.

Reports about the reasoning for the divorce were mixed, and sources had previously claimed that their politics, lifestyle, Calabasas’ house and even the rapper’s surprisingly short attendance at his wife’s exuberant birthday party last year were all controversial.
The two started dating in 2012 and confirmed their relationship by appearing together at public events.
They were married on May 24, 2014 in a ceremony at a Renaissance fortress in Florence, Italy.

The marriage was the first of West and the third of Kardashian. She was first married to music producer Damon Thomas from 2000-2004, then to basketball pro Chris Humphries from 2011-2013, although she filed for divorce just 72 days after their marriage.
The news of a rift between Kardashian and West only broke back in January.
When the reports initially appeared in January, E! News reports that Kardashian has not yet filed a divorce document because, according to an informant, she wanted to ensure that she ‘made the right decision for the children’.

TMZ also reported at the time that the two had been living separately for several months and that their relationship had been a major problem in the latter half of 2020.
