Kim Kardashian filed for divorce Kanye West after 7 years of marriage, but our sources say it’s as friendly as a divorce can be.
Kim calls for joint legal and physical supervision of the couple’s four children. Sources with direct knowledge tell that TMZ Kanye is good with the joint supervision arrangement, and we are told that Kim and Ye are committed to co-parenting.
There is an occasion and we are told that neither party disputes it. In fact, our sources say that they are already far in reaching an agreement on the settlement of property.
The documents, submitted by disso queen Laura Wasser, do not mention a separation date … it is listed as determined. The date is almost irrelevant because the split of them has been so well chronicled in the news and social media.
It was during the last half of 2020 when things got really shaky for Kimye … West was launched his presidential campaign on July 4 and weeks later a bizarre campaign event in South Carolina. At one point a sobbing Kanye tell a story from a discussion he had with Kim … talked about abortion when she was pregnant with their first child.
It was not long after that when Kanye a series of shots to the Kardashian / Jenner family on Twitter, at one point following the matriarch, Kris Jenner, as “Kris Jong-Un.”
Multiple sources with direct knowledge told us that Kim was ready to name it after Kanye’s outbursts, if Kanye did not go through a severe bipolar episode. She felt that it would be cruel to end the marriage if things did not go well with him.
Things got so rocky that the couple had been living apart for a few months. He spent much of his time in Wyoming while she was with the children in Calabasas. The issue? We were told that it was not controversial or ugly … but their differences in lifestyle and politics were among the main ones.
You will remember that they have a family vacation late last year, to see if they can fix things … before that, Kim flew to Wyoming for the first time since Kanye’s off-the-rails campaign emotionally face-to-face with Kanye.
Kim and Kanye met in the early 2000s and he first appeared in ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ in 2010 when he visited her and Kourtney’s DASH store in NYC. Kim went out at the time Kris Humphries. Kanye would confess his love for Kim later in 2012 with his ‘Cold’ track. They started dating shortly thereafter.
Kim given birth on North Wes in June 2013 before Kim and Kanye untied the knot during a lavish wedding in Italy in May 2014. Kim and Kanye have four children together … North, Chicago, Psalm and Saint.
This will be Kim’s third divorce. She was married to music producer Damon Thomas before divorcing in 2004. She married Humphries in August 2011, but she divorce filed at 72 days. This is Kanye’s first divorce.
