‘Bridgerton’ star Nicola Coughlan told Kim Kardashian about her inspiration for the show, and the reality TV personality could not be more excited.
Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington in the hit Netflix series, tweeted on Tuesday that the Kardashians ‘were a huge inspiration to the Featheringtons’ and a regular topic of conversation during accessories for the drama in the Regency era.
She also claims a link between her corset in the program and one made for Kardashian. “You’re been a part of the Bridgerton world longer than you know,” Coughlan wrote.
Kardashian was delighted with the news.
“I’m freaking out !!!!!” she replied, to Coughlan’s delight and surprise, before asking if that would make her an ‘honorary Duchess of Bridgerton’.
“Why, Duchess Kardashian of Calabasas!” replied Coughlan, before jumping into her character as her alter ego in the show: “Lady Whistledown likes to declare you as the incomparable season.”
