The past few weeks have sparked rumors that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are on the verge of a divorce.

Page Six was the first to break the reports, claiming that the couple, who married in 2014 and share four children, decided to go their separate ways after spending much of the past year apart.
“This divorce is happening because Kim grew up a lot,” a source told the outlet. ‘She’s serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer. She is serious about her reform campaign in prison. Meanwhile, Kanye is talking about running for president and telling other people she’s crazy, and she’s had enough of it.
TMZ further claimed that Kim and Kanye had been in marriage counseling for several months in an attempt to resolve their issues before E! News confirmed that their marriage was over and that an announcement was imminent.
“It has come to the point that they have not spent more than a couple together for months,” a source said. ‘They saw each other for the sake of the children, but they lived apart. Kim knows the marriage is over. She’s been known for a while. ‘
Since then, both Kim and Kanye have been silent about the reports and no official confirmation of their divorce has come. In fact, Kim created more confusion by taking pictures with and without her wedding ring.
The day before the news of the divorce broke, Kim uploaded an Instagram photo to promote Skims, and her wedding ring – which she always wears – was nowhere to be seen. People immediately began to speculate that its removal had been indicated by Kim that the reports were true. A day later, however, Kim left LA for her wedding ring again before completely removing the image from her Instagram.
I theorized at the time that Kim deleted the photo and kept quiet about the divorce rumors because she was planning to address the topic over the upcoming 20th and final season of Keep up with the Kardashians, which will be launched over the next few months.
After all, the family has been following the same tradition for 14 years to revamp media gossip stories before each premiere of the season before leaving the big revelation to the show. And season 20 will be their last chance to maximize the drama before KUWTK end.
And it seems the theory could be accurate, with Page Six now reporting that Kim and Kanye’s marriage issues will be a major story in the final season of the show.
