Kim Cattrall’s absence from reloading Sex And The City is explained by the waning friendship between the women
It seems like art will mimic life in the Sex And The City reboot on HBO Max.
The absence of Kim Cattrall, who had an ‘outing’ with Sarah Jessica Parker, will be explained because her character Samantha is no longer friends with Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda.
“Just like in real life, people come into your life, people go away,” Casey Bloys, chief executive of HBO Max, told TVLine on Wednesday. “Friendships fade and new friendships begin.”

Parker, along with original co-stars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, is paid $ 1 million per episode for ten 30-minute episodes of the new series entitled And Just Like That.
They will portray their beloved characters as 50-year-old women navigating life and love in New York City.
“It’s very much a story about women in their 50s, and they have to do with things that men deal with in their 50s,” Bloys explained.
‘They’re trying to tell an honest story about a woman in her 50s in New York. So it should all feel organic, and the friends you have when you are thirty you may not have when you are 50. ‘
