Khloé Kardashian’s photo controversy over ‘diet culture’, says Jameela Jamil

According to Jameela Jamil, Khloé Kardashian has some explanations to do, but he can ‘see’ why she is upset about a recent photo leak.

The 36-year-old reality star recently made headlines after an unprocessed bikini photo went viral online without her permission. It was immediately scrubbed from the internet amid reports of legal action by the star’s famous family.

Jamil said on Instagram on Wednesday – after the news of the removal of the photo became known – that she was “angry” at the Kardashian family for maintaining ‘fat phobia and impossible beauty standards’, but added that she could’ TOTALLY see why they ‘are so obsessed with presentation, regardless of society’s latest ideal of’ perfect ‘. “

The actress said the Kardashian family had been “harassed and bullied and scrutinized” by the public and demanded that “this cycle of anti-feminist behavior should end on both sides”.

“They need to stop lying. THE PUBLIC AND MEDIA MUST STOP THE BULLYING OVER THEIR LOOK,” Jamil continued. “It’s just a vicious circle otherwise.”

She concluded her note with an empowering and hopeful message on the challenge of beauty standards.

Jamil, 35, weighed in again on Thursday via Twitter and shared a response to Kardashian’s statement, in which Kardashian told of years of ‘pressure’ and ‘constant mockery’ because she looks different from her famous sisters.

“It’s almost unbearable to try to meet the impossible standards that the public has set for me,” Kardashian said.

Jamil noted that this ideology was what she was referring to and that Kardashian was “bullied in this state of mind.”

“That’s what I said. She was bullied in this state of mind,” the actress wrote. “But it’s also a great time to acknowledge surgeries, thinner photos and videos, and stop being part of the culture that makes girls like her hate herself.”

His added: “No more diet products. No more ‘revengeful body’.”

In a follow-up tweet, the actress ‘Good Place’ said that everyone ‘loses’ as ‘diet culture wins.’

“Even the people who make money from promoting it,” she said clarified.

Jamil, an outspoken critic of body image standards, has in the past spoken out against the Kardashian tribe for promoting weight loss products and Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS maternity line for promoting beauty standards.

Reps for Kardashian declined to comment.

In addition to Jamil taking the controversy into account, Khloé received a lot of love from her famous sisters in the comments of her statement on Instagram.
