Kentucky Man Damon Beckley in viral video of Capitol Riot Nabbed by FBI

A Kentucky man who appeared in a viral video promising to “take down all these traitors” when he took part in the Capitol riots last week has been arrested by the FBI. The FBI in Louisville announced the arrest of Damon Beckley late Saturday. Beckley is charged with unlawful entry into a restricted building and disorderly conduct on the Capitol site. His first court appearance is on January 19th. After Beckley made headlines with his furious remarks against Mike Pence and promised to start a revolution of the Capitol building, he reportedly hid. The local news station WDRB spoke to him days after the violence and reported that he had emphasized that he had only entered the Capitol to investigate a friend and caused no destruction. He also allegedly deleted his Facebook and removed the SIM card from his phone, believing that it would prevent authorities from locating him.
