If the beginning of his stint as Danger! as host approaches, Ken Jennings apologizes for ‘naughty and insensitive things’ he tweeted earlier.
Jennings debuts on Monday, January 11 as interim host A Twitter thread On Wednesday, the former posted on his personal account Danger! champion said he wanted to possess some “jokes” he has posted on social media over the years, and which have recently resurfaced. One, who has since been removed, reads: “Nothing sadder than a hot person in a wheelchair.”

Jennings’ promotion to host was predicted last September when he joined the program as a consultant. In the new role, he presented his own special video categories, developed projects, assisted in reaching out to participants and served as general ambassador for the program. In November, he was appointed as a temporary host, succeeding the original host Alex Trebek, who had died of pancreatic cancer weeks earlier.
