And on Thursday’s episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the 38-year-old singer revealed that she once had to use a trash can as an improvised toilet just before going in front of an audience.

The story was brought up during a conversation the songwriter had with country artist Clint Black, who mentioned that an opening act of his once acknowledged that he was urinating on stage.

Clarkson responds laughingly to the musician’s story, referring to an embarrassment of her own, saying, ‘I’ll tell you now, there was one time … it was not peeing, my friend.’

The first American Idol winner began her report by noting that she was “kind of ruined by a kind of food” before a performance.

She explained to her guest in relative graphic detail how she was forced to use a trash can as an improvised toilet to get on stage as quickly as possible.

Clarkson recalls: ‘I grabbed this poor trash can and destroyed my son. It was bad. It was bad, Clint … It’s happening! What are you supposed to do? ‘

The 59-year-old guest then jokingly said that he was trying to visualize the appearance.

The hitmaker also noted that she was not afraid to discuss topics that many others would consider off the table or that were inappropriate to present.

‘I have no filter at best. I’m open to talking about anything. “I don’t think anything is really inappropriate – of course a few things,” Clarkson remarked.

She added: ‘Most things I’m willing to talk about, which some people are not ready for when they talk to me. Like ‘um TMI!’ ‘

The Since U Been Gone singer is known for her energetic live performances and extensive touring schedule.

She initially took the road during the American Idols Live! Tour 2002 after winning first place during the first season of the competition.

Clarkson’s first solo title was The Breakaway Tour and lasted from 2005 to the following year.

The songwriter has since undertaken several other outings as an artist, with her most recent attempt at the Meaning of Life Tour, which ran from January to March 2019.
