Keke out, King doubtful over NFC title match

The Green Bay Packers listed only two players with injuries in the team’s final injury report ahead of the NFC Championship Game.

Defensive linebacker Kingsley Keke will miss his third consecutive game due to a concussion, while cornerback Kevin King is listed as doubtful after suffering a back injury this week. King did not practice Friday.

Coach Matt LaFleur said he would give King, an appetizer at the cornerback, the rest of the week to be ready to play.

“Hopefully he will be good to go Sunday,” LaFleur said Friday.

King did not play in the first meeting with the Buccaneers. The Packers just added veteran Tramon Williams to the training group and added another depth to the position starting Sunday. If King can not go, Josh Jackson and Ka’dar Hollman are both available and Williams can be promoted from the training group

Not having Keke again is a tough blow, considering he could offer as an indoor quarrel against Tom Brady. Snacks Harrison will likely be active again Sunday.

LaFleur’s team did get some very good news. Kicker Mason Crosby has no injury and will play against the Buccaneers. He injured his shoulder on an extra point during the Rams’ victory last week. The Packers will also face AJ Dillon, who has a four-man injury but does not have an injury for Sunday.

Linebacker Krys Barnes (thumb) and Jamaal Williams (ankle), who are both new additions to the injury report, will also play.

The Buccaneers ruled out receiver Antonio Brown and rookie safety Antoine Winfield Jr. indicated as doubtful.
