Katherine Heigl looks back on the accusations of the ‘difficult person’

In an interview with the Washington Post, the “Grey’s Anatomy” actress said rumors about her have grown to the point that she has been branded as unprofessional, and now she feels it was unfair.

“I may have said a few things you dislike, but then it increased to ‘She’s ungrateful,’ then it increased to ‘She’s difficult,’ and it increased to ‘She’s unprofessional,'” Heigl told the publication. “What’s your definition of difficult? Someone with an opinion you don’t like? Now, I’m 42, and that’s my anger.”

The actress, who starred in ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ from 2005 to 2010, said she only found herself in even deeper trouble the more to apologize. “The more I said I’m sorry, the more they wanted it,” she said.

She continued, “The more scared and frightened I was of doing something wrong, the more I came down as if I was really doing something terribly wrong.”

Heigl says her anxiety got so bad that she had to leave Hollywood.

“I asked my mother and my husband to look for me somewhere to help me because I felt I would rather be dead,” she said. “I did not realize how much anxiety I was living with before I got so bad that I really had to seek help. You can do a lot of inner soul work, but I’m a big fan of Zoloft.
