Kate Middleton paves the way for William and Harry Patch Up

(Newer)
William and Harry did not walk next to their grandfather’s funeral on Saturday, but the Sunday Times reports they may be on their way to a royal reconciliation thanks to “family peacemaker” Kate Middleton. Per die Times, the Duchess was the first to bring Harry into conversation when the royals left Prince Philip’s funeral at Windsor Castle. William joins in and Kate moves to the back to give the brothers space to chat. The death of 99-year-old Philip occurred just weeks after Harry’s bombing of Oprah, along with wife Meghan Markle, who is pregnant and has to stay in California.

The brothers’ relationship has been strained ever since. As people note, it was the first time the once fat-as-thieves brothers had been together for more than a year since Harry gave up his royal duties to move with Markle and their son Archie to Canada and then California. The Times reports Harry will be staying in Britain for a few days after his grandfather’s funeral to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s 95th birthday with his family on Wednesday.
