Kate Middleton and Prince William introduced a new furry friend to their family just before the loss of their beloved cocker spaniel Lupo, say reports.
The two, parents of Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, en Prince Louis(2) brought home a cocker spaniel puppy that was part of the litter of one of Kate’s brother James Middletonsee dogs, Luna, several UK stores reported on Sunday 24 January. The Lupo is the uncle of the new dog, and James donated the puppy to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shortly before their older dog died in November at the age of 9, according to The sun and The Mail on Sunday.
Kensington Palace did not confirm the news. The name, gender and appearance of the family’s new puppy were not disclosed.
“The new puppy is lovely and the whole family is furry,” said a friend of the couple The Mail on Sunday. “They were devastated when Lupo died, as any dog owner would understand, but got the new puppy before he died.
