Kate Hudson hopes to have contact with her father and siblings again in 2021.
The actress has been estranged from her father, Bill Hudson, for several years. Bill is married to Kate’s mother, Goldie Hawn, but they divorced in the early 1980s after a few years of marriage. Bill had two children with his new wife, Cindy Williams, as well as a third daughter named Lalania.
In an episode of the podcast “Sibling Revelry” that she shares with her brother, Oliver Hudson, the 41-year-old actress reveals that she is thinking about letting her father and children into her life. According to People, the duo discussed New Year’s resolutions, and asked Kate to note that although she does not have a specific resolution, she is reconsidering her family ties.
“Do you know what I’ve been thinking lately? Dad,” Kate says. “I thought of our sisters we do not spend time with and our brother – brothers. We have four brothers and sisters with whom we do not spend time,” she said, in an apparent reference to Bill. Hudson’s three children and Wyatt, the son of Kurt Russell, have long been in love with Kate’s mother.

The star noted that her siblings are getting older and that she is now welcome to have some contact with them in her life.
“I thought about how everyone gets older,” she continues. “It would be nice to get in touch a little bit, especially with my sisters.”
She added: ‘We’ve talked so much about brother and sister relationships and disturbing relationships or good relationships – and we sit here as if we have the best family, we’re so wonderful and yet we never acknowledge the fact that we have four others. brothers and sisters. Four. So I thought of the Hudsons. I think it’s important that we reach out to all our siblings and maybe connect with them a little bit. ‘

The actress told Howard Stern in 2016 that she forgave her father for dating her mother, who later dated Russell.
