Kanye West has been uncharacteristically silent in the weeks since the news of his divorce from Kim Kardashian in early January. There was talk last month that Kardashian and West had started attending marriage counseling, but reports surfaced that they were giving up the sessions almost as quickly. Now, with the rumors still going to happen, we hear that West is packing his belongings, namely a bunch of sneakers.
According to Page Six, the same outlet that first broke the news of the divorce, West was moving items from home while Kardashian was with the family in the Turks and Caicos. According to pony newspaper sources, West left the Calabasas home with 500 pairs of sneakers on tow – there is no word if they were all Yeezys, but one can assume.
“They both felt it would be less dramatic without them both being in the house,” the source told Page Six.
On January 5, Page Six reported that the divorce of Kardashain and West was ‘imminent’. The news was followed by the news that the two were attending marriage counseling, but it is said that they gave up hope later in the month to make it work, and West apparently planned meetings with divorce lawyers.
