Kansan protest in Washington, DC, explains the decision to violate the US Capitol

WICHITA, Kan (KWCH) – A man named Steve van Salina is under Kansans who is in Washington, DC to run for President Donald Trump. Steve, who did not name his surname, was part of the large group that penetrated the American Capitol on Wednesday afternoon. Steve said he was in the country’s capital because he “had enough” and “we need to stand up for Americans.”

“The goal is to show the American people that we love our country and will take a stand for it,” he said.

Steve said the intention was not for the protest to become violent.

“We did not want to cause any more problems, but we wanted to enter the capital. “This is our home and we planned to go in and talk to our representatives because they are doing the wrong thing,” he said.

Steve undertook the trip to Washington, DC with the others who did not listen to law enforcement claims.

“We went up with the scaffolding and inside,” he said as he entered the American Capitol. “The doors were kicked open and we went in, and then the domestic police rushed at us and sprayed us with peppers and beat us with shields.”

He said the brave action was what he thought was to convey his message.

‘I will die for our country and freedom. I would die for your freedoms. And if that’s what it takes to get it done … ”

Steve said he left the capital before the 6pm curfew and did not know what would happen if the evening fell in Washington.
