Kamaru Usman and Gilbert Burns will face UFC 258 today (Sat. 13 February 2021) in a main event between welterweight and the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. Usman Vs. Burns, an expensive pay-per-view (PPV), was the decisive battle for the Welterweight title, an excellent battle between dominant champion and worthy competitor.

Round One
Burns pushed the action down early and kicked off. Enormous from Burns dropped Usman fleetingly, and the two are BRAWLING! Usman is shaky, but the champion seems to be recovering. Burns slipped on a high kick, and Usman spent more time recovering by kicking his enemy in the legs while standing over him. Usman actually lands a serious amount of low kicks before Burns shoots up, and the Brazilian lands a knee. Usman shoots back and lands with blows. Good low kick from the champion, but Burns returns the favor. Usman jerked the middle section with a kick. Usman puts together a great range of jabs. Burn shots were filled. Burns still throws with real power, and he connects on a good hook.
Round Two
Usman lands some stiff stab points to start the round. Heavy calf kick from Burns, but Usman does the same. Burns is very active with his kicks. Clean the right hand from Burns. Stiff stab from Usman backs Burns up, then a right hand numbs him. Burns stabbed back into the fence, and Usman kicked off and punched. Usman DOES DAMAGE! Now Usman of Southpaw is attacking, but it looks like Burns has his legs under him again. Out of nowhere falls a jab Burns! Burns gets up again and finds a capital letter.
Round Three
Right-handed jab drops Burns early in round three! Usman follows him to the mat and pulls down, hitting hard at home as he stands over his opponent. That’s it, the battle is over!
Result: Kamaru Usman defeats Gilbert Burns via a knockout in the third round
