The singer and actor confirmed the good news in a video call with Ellen DeGeneres, a talk show host, and revealed that his new son is Phineas’ name.
The former NSYNC singer already has a five-year-old son named Silas with actress Biel, whom he married in 2012.
Timberlake made the news in an interview that aired later Monday on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
In a preview on social media, DeGeneres recalled learning via FaceTime what the couple was expecting, telling Timberlake, “You’re a dad again, you have another little kid.”
Timberlake, who turns 40 this month, told DeGeneres she was “one of the first people outside our immediate family to tell us.”
When asked if he would share the baby’s name, Timberlake said, “His name is Phineas and he’s amazing. And he’s so cute. And no one sleeps. But we’m excited. We’m excited and couldn’t be happier be not very thankful. “
